WGLUS type -- integrated ultrasonic level gauge is used for continuous detection of liquid level and volume of liquid and slurry materials in open or closed containers, and also for open channel flow measurement, with a large range of up to 12 meters.
The working principle of the ultrasonic level gauge is that the ultrasonic pulse sent by the transducer (probe) is reflected back when encountering the surface of the measured medium, and part of the reflected echo is received by the same transducer and converted into electrical signals. The ultrasonic pulse propagates at the speed of sound wave. The time interval required from transmission to receiving the ultrasonic pulse is proportional to the distance from the transducer to the surface of the measured medium. The relationship between the distance value s and the sound speed C and the transmission time T can be expressed by the formula:
