Correct installation

Generally, the damage of high-temperature melt pressure sensor is caused by improper installation position. If the sensor is forcibly installed in a hole that is too small or has an irregular shape, the vibration film of the sensor may be damaged due to impact. Selecting appropriate tools to process the installation hole is conducive to controlling the size of the installation hole. In addition, appropriate installation torque is conducive to forming a good seal, However, if the installation torque is too high, it is easy to cause the high temperature melt pressure sensor to slip. 1. Correct installation method of pressure sensor:

(1) Verify the frequency response value of the pressure sensor under normal atmospheric pressure and standard temperature conditions through appropriate instruments.

(2) Verify the correctness of the coding of the pressure sensor and the corresponding frequency response signal.

2. Determine the specific installation position

In order to determine the number and specific installation position of the pressure sensor, it is necessary to consider each inflation section of the inflation net.

(1) The pressure sensor must be installed along the cable and at the cable connector.

(2) At least 4 pressure sensors shall be installed on each cable, and the distance between two pressure sensors close to the telephone office shall not be more than 200m.

(3) One cable shall be installed at the beginning and end of each cable.

(4) One branch point shall be installed for each cable. If two branch points are close (less than 100 m), only one can be installed.

(5) One cable shall be installed at the change of cable laying mode (overhead and underground)

(6) For cables without branches, since the cable program of the base wire is consistent, the installation interval of the pressure sensor shall not be greater than 500m, and the total number shall not be less than 4.

(7) In order to determine the fault point of the pressure sensor, in addition to installing the pressure sensor at the starting point, another one shall be installed 150~200m away from the starting point. Of course, in the design, economic and technical factors must be taken into account. In places where the pressure sensor does not need to be installed, it is unnecessary to install it.

Check dimensions

If the size of the mounting hole is not appropriate, the thread of the high-temperature melt pressure sensor will be easily worn during installation, which will not only affect the sealing performance of the equipment, but also make the sensor unable to play a full role, and may even cause potential safety hazards. Only suitable mounting holes can avoid thread wear (thread industry standard 1/2-20UNF2B). Generally, mounting holes can be inspected with a mounting hole gauge to make proper adjustment.
